Bug Description

I will be posting a blog entry on logikalblog.com with all of the details of the journey trying to get Elementary to install and boot on this device. It is simply too much information for a bug report and "somebody" might identify the missing steps to make this work.

Last summer I ended up doing a project for an INTEL supplier and they wanted us to test with this computer because, according to INTEL it is/was the best selling computer in the country. With a price tag now under $160 it is easy to see why so many parents buy these for school kids.

I tried your distro after reading on distrowatch.com about great UEFI support. It's not really there yet. Even when I copy in a bootia32.efi to the thumb drive to boot for installation the installer isn't polite enough to copy it into the ubuntu EFI directory. Jumping through all of the pain to add bootia32.efi to the directory doesn't allow Elementary to boot either.
