cli / terminal output not visible in installer

Bug Description
I'm proficient in command-line and like to watch the output go past as it's installing because it helps me diagnose problems with installation. I can press the down arrow in the little box, and it will show me the output in theory, but it automatically sizes to the line above, not the output, and there doesn't seem to be a way to make it any larger.
I've included a screenshot to show what I mean. Thanks!
