Bug Description
The following behaviour is consistent with all applets in the top bar. When you open the menu of an applet with a left mouse click, everything works fine and dandy, there are no problems. If you open the menu of an applet with a right mouse click, the menu opens, but when you click one of the options it doesn't perform the expected behaviour. It registers the mouse click, but it doesn't preform the action it should perform.
I understand and actually agree that the menu of an applet should only work/open with a left mouse click, because that is consistent behaviour. You select everything with a left mouse click on the desktop, so selecting an applet should also be done with a left mouse click. But because you can open the menu with either the left or right mouse click, you should be able to perform the same actions.
Alternatively you could remove the possibility to open the menu of an applet with a right mouse click, I think both solutions are fine, although the latter maybe teaches the user to always select things with a left mouse click.
I made this companion video to, hopefully, more clearly show you the bug: https:/
