Bug Description

During install, I get this error window:
Title: "Error installing /cdrom//pool/main/c/console-setup/console-setup-linux_1.123_all.dev"
Text: "trying to overwrite '/etc/console-setup/compose.ISO-8859-11.inc', which is also in package console-setup 1.123"

After clicking OK, the installer crashes - another window opens up (titled "Installer crashed") which says that it'll allow me to file a bug report using the integrated bug reporting tool, which never opens up.

First time I started installation after starting up GUI first, second time booted directly into installation and the third time I tried from GUI which was started for me after the second installation failed. Third time I couldn't even close the "Installer crashed" window - "Close" button did nothing. The third time I started installer from terminal, with "sudo ubiquity" and had to kill the ubiquity process to close the terminal (used SIGKILL) - in the terminal Ctrl+C wouldn't stop the ubiquity process.

I'm trying to install on Samsung N220 from an USB created with Unetbootin, freya ISO was downloaded yesterday.

How do I even begin diagnosing where the problem is? Attached the entire /var/log dir, which should contain logs from last two installations.

Same problem while trying to install Linux Mint 17.2 "Rafaela" Xfce RC (64-bit). Atleast it has an readable list of what is going on :) Attached screenshots.

This bug should probably be moved somewhere else, as it's not elementary os specific?

You have dirty installation media containing a mix of debian and ubuntu. You need to format the installation medium before preparing it for use to install a new OS.
