Bug Description
Thermald is a daemon which controls the cooling system. It was contributed by Intel on Ubuntu 14.04 and apparently it can do wonders for Intel-based builds. I can report in my own computer (i5-3337U with IGP HD4000) that the uptime goes from 1h45 minutes to 2h30 after the installation, with the same workflow. Given the amount of laptop users which will be using Intel processors I think it would make sense to ship thermald by default.
