App icon stucked with pointer after drag'n drop from slingshot

i've been using luna for a while now with excellent results. today i decided to part with my beloved luna and all my installed apps to try out freya and what a disappointment. from first boot the screen was flickering almost constantly and when i drag an app shortcut to the dock the app icon and an additional mouse pointer gets 'stuck' where my mouse pointer is supposed to be. i have to logout to fix it. totally unusable. please fix this. thanx in advance.

I did fresh install of the newest downloadable Freya image yesterday and half of the screen flickers sometimes, especially after waking up the laptop (Dell Latitude D630). The problem didn't exist before.

I am also having the same issue with the screen partially flickering (Toshiba L510 ) otherwise it is blazingly fast and beautiful.

Same here too on my laptop (Thinkpad E420s with disabled AMD Card).
But if I don't logout to fix this problem, it will disappear and has no problem(No restart or logout).

Same issues, appears since freya beta 2 iso with lts-enablement-stack, probably caused by new xorg & mesa from LES. I had used Linux 3.16 in Manjaro XFCE & Linux 3.19 in Arch Gnome, so unlikely the fault of the kernel.

Please change the title of this report to a more straight-forward one, like 'App icon stucked with pointer after drag'n drop from slingshot', so that the devs could identify the bug easily.

Same issues occurs when drag'n drop in Pantheon Files.
Unable to post a screenshot since the pointer is normal in screenshot.
