black background

Bug Description

Hi,

Since the last update I have a black background, no plank and I can move the task bar...

I can use my compute to go on internet etc... But nothing else.

I install eOS again, just do the updates and it come back again.

I have a ASUS P53SJ

I had similar issue too, try a sudo apt-get upgrade.

I have a similar issue too, but my wingpanel and plank are still on its place. After the last dist-upgrade, my wallpaper turned to black and I cannot change it anymore. Here is the log extract i did with grep 'upgrade ' /var/log/dpkg.log :

I don't why but after a reinstallation of a new eOS iso it works perfectly...

Maybe the iso was "badly" downloaded ?
