Strange rendering of active window shadow

After installing but not activating numix icon theme circle, Selected popup windows are showing strange incorrect shadows.

I happended to me too after updating.

I have a slight variation on the same problem. Some windows (notably browsers) have the shadow in the correct place, but it's sharply cut off instead of fading nicely.
