When I started the update it refered to the update as ubuntu 0.3 update.

That has nothing to do whatsoever with my question. Stop re tagging them and read them for a change.

     My question has to do with a 64 bit architecture and how it won't burn to a thumbdrive correctly. I would use a DVD instead but my computer doesn't accept a DVD for a boot device. I don't know if it's the download, the image, the ISO burning app, the flash drive, or the computer. The question you redirected me to, has to do with updates for the i386 form of ubuntu 0.3. My question is in fact not a duplicate.
