they're in our repos but not currently installed by the installer. they should be, because they make POA work.

Hm, so I think the problem here is that it doesn't seem like POA is aware of whether or not apps are actually trying to use this data. It sees "EDS" as an app.
So what happens is that we're offering to enable email, but Geary has no concept of POA.
