Bug Description
Screen blanks out when trying to view a page in Firefox. Happened randomly a few minutes ago and I can recreate it just by opening firefox again. Nothing wakes the screen (laptop and external) and I have to hard reset every time.

Thanks for the detailed bug report! The dump you attached indicates a GPU hang. We use pristine graphics stack as supplied by Ubuntu, so that's a bug in Ubuntu. Marking affected.
The dump specifically mentions this: drm/card0/ error p.org against DRI -> DRM/Intel
[drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/
[drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack, including userspace.
[drm] Please file a _new_ bug report on bugs.freedeskto
[drm] drm/i915 developers can then reassign to the right component if it's not a kernel issue.
[drm] The gpu crash dump is required to analyze gpu hangs, so please always attach it.
So could you also report this bug to Intel developers at https:/ /bugs.freedeskt op.org/ enter_bug. cgi?product= DRI ?
You might want to attach the auto-generated Dependencies.txt as seen above to that bug report as well.
Thanks in advance!
