midori window size expands by itself

I clicked on the "RSS" icon in the adress bar while on http://elementaryos.org/ website. The RSS pane opened on the left and the window started to expand its X size automatically. I could not stop it. When I killed the midori process, the window was spanning about 3 workspaces in width.
