keyboard up/down breaks in slingshot sometimes

For particular legitimate phrases entered into slingshot that returns multiple apps, the keyboard up/down arrows will not cycle through the listed apps.

See video attached. Near the end as "photo view" is entered, im pressing up and down arrows but nothings happening.
