installer crashes when attempting uefi grub install

Horribly annoying and not happening to ubuntu 14.04, the installer is at the end and is "configuring grub", and then crashes and gives the message that it's crashed and that I should bug report... Fucked up... Really thought the UEFI would work great, since I saw a mac user with smoother than smooth boot on his macbook, and that was an earlier alpha, I'm trying the beta for goodness sake.. Yeah, oh well... Am using Acer Aspire S3-391 elementary beta 0.3 freya
