when updating I am getting multiple 404 errors

That happens because the PPA doesn't exist anymore (which is why you are getting HTTP 404 errors - the address doesn't exist anymore.

If you don't want those messages to appear you will need to remove the PPA from your software sources list. They shouldn't interfere with the rest of the system anyway. But this is not the bug in the OS.

Ok I can remove them but when trying to add the ppa for elementary tweaks
it happens as well and I cannot install tweaks?

even I'm getting that 404 not found messages while update. Is it fine if that is not updated? and where to add the current repositories?
