The guest account warning dialog is obnoxious to read

Bug Description

The warning that all files and settings for the guest account are temporary is too long. It currently reads:

Temporary Guest Session
All data created during this guest session will be deleted when you log out, and settings will be reset to defaults. Please save files on some external device, for instance a USB stick, if you would like to access them again.

If you see the attachment you can see that in this context the warning is easily ignored. This dialog could easily be shortened:

Guest Session
All data created will be deleted when you log out. If you need to save files, put it on an external device such as a USB stick.

Here's a PNG of the dialog which should just open in the web browser.

Or/and the sentence regarding saving data to external device could start with a new line - more readable, than that big chunk

I have replaced the zenity dialog with a notify-send on my machine and I think that you might want to consider this, as the notification is less obtrusive and looks nicer.

The source of the text can be found here:

/usr/lib/lightdm/guest-session-auto.sh

Unfortunately I have not been able to find documentation on how / where this file gets pulled into the elementary build.

Maybe someone on the team could point us to a reference?

This file is included in the lightdm packaging files supplied by the distro. In order to make this change, Elementary would have to carry their own build of the lightdm package.

You can view the script by running:
apt source lightdm

and look in the ./debian directory that is created.

What if elementary were to work with upstream to allow this file to be changed by the distro?

Having persistent storage is in my view preferable to showing a warning dialogue to every user.

You run into problems having used it all, which is a more of an expected error, for fewer users, and it could fail graciously at that.

Then there is the additional complexity in setting it up. Just using all extra space on the installation media by default, with no sliders required, doesn't strike me as a bad idea?
