Laptop brightness control doesnt work at all

Bug Description

Laptop's brightness control does not work at all if a laptop has Intel HD Graphics 4600. This issue is with all ISOs. 32bit/64bit. Luna and Freya both.

I have a very similar bug. while developers don't fix it, i managed do change the brightness via xrander.

I think everybody had the same issue with the brightness on laptops.

Solution can be found here:
