Bug Description
In Isis (compiled development stuff) empathy has a single menu entry in the menubar saying "Empathy". That's ugly and could be fixed by including a smart way to manage gnome3's menus. This would also fix similar issues in various other gnome3 applications, improving their integration substancially.

All the default GNOME apps that are in Freya do not have a double menubar anymore, at least on my installation. They have an extra button in the titlebar. Would this be considered fixed?
