Bug Description
Someone arrived in #elementary-dev asking how to get their network working.
After quickly asking for a handful of commands to be entered, we diagnosed that it was due to the network card in question ("Qualcomm Atheros Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller") not being supported by alx.
There are instructions on the Ubuntu forum to get these drivers working.

btw, with the newer versions of Ubuntu LTS, there is something called the "LTS Hardware Enablement Stack", (see https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Kernel/ LTSEnablementSt ack) where the LTS distros roll with an updated kernel and X stack by default.
Maybe we should look into supporting the LTS HES kernel by default, so that newer hardware can be supported out of the box with an update of the system?
