Cryptkeeper does not appear in wingpanel. There should be an option to whitelist apps.

Legacy? Cryptkeeper is in the elementary repository, so it should be supported! Otherwise remove it from repository.

Cryptkeeper itself is not legacy, it uses the deprecated tray system. This is a cryptkeeper bug.
