Bug Description

I activated the nvidia experimental drivers 310 yesterday and when I rebooted X could not load. Previously nvidia-experimenta-304 were activated. The error X gave was that kernel modules for version 304 were installed and these did not match the driver which was version 310.

This was fixed by purging packages nvidia-experimental-304, nvidia-experimental-310 and nvidia-settings-experimental-310 before reinstalling nvidia-experimental-310 which solved the issue.

Note that my Luna install was fresh and I updated the kernel on the same day to 3.2.0-43-generic. I can't remember if I had rebooted before activating the new driver.
