Bug Description

When I plug in the monitor system slows down. I can work only with one display, monitor or laptop screen, but not both at the same time.

Thanks Cody Graver, I've installed Linux-generic-lts-quantal, but it didn't help. Still the same problem.
When I use monitor as a second display, desktop becomes black and system slows down.

Are you using proprietary drivers?

Nope, I'm on Intel GMA 950,
so I haven't installed any additional drivers.

I suspect this is an intel driver issue but I'm attaching the window manager to the bug just to find out.

In what way did you arrange the monitors? If it was one on top of the other, we recently fixed the problem in wingpanel. Otherwise, please reopen the bug report (although it is probably a driver issue then, which we can't fix either).

I seem to have sorrted the issue out by lowering the resolution of the additional monitor. System working now.
