Can't use the desktop

Hi,
I can't use the desktop and when I start an a app (chrome,vlc..etc.) for 3-4 seconds,it would be great to be faster(to be opened at the moment),maybe like on Mac :)))) greetings Bulgaria

I have the same problem. I can move (drag) any folders to my desktop, nor is the desktop listed in the available folders on the left side of my finder.

I have the same bug. I want use my desktop putting folders, files and icons to initialize softwares, but I can't do that.

Can't solve this issue?
