screen capture programs don't capture pantheon DE.

issue involves capturing, where everytime I capture(an image or a video), the result is a black screen. I've tried gtk-recordmydesktop, kazam, shutter and eidete all with the same result.

This issue only occurs when I'm using the pantheon DE; I logged into gnome classic DE and recordmydesktop worked on it.

Also when I go to system settings > display , then I click the "apply" button the screen on gtk-recordmydesktop updates once. ( like an image ) The result of capturing after doing so is still a black screen.

Proprietary ATI drivers are not supported because support for pantheon/gnome-shell/mutter is still in development by AMD. You're fortunate your system boots compared to other reports.
