Unable to use icons in the top bar of splash screen

Bug Description
Click on the icons in the top bar (battery for example) when you're in the splash screen and you'll get a blink on all the screen without being able to see or chose an option.
Moreover, it prevents from writing in the text field (It is possible to workaround by clicking on "Connect" and clicking on the text field again).
I have installed the proprietary driver from ATI/AMD for FGLRX graphic card.
My graphic card is :
lspci|grep VGA
