Bug Description

Since the Nov 17 updates, my WiFi is dropping a lot on Luna Beta. I have a HP Mini 110 (my main PC connected to an external monitor) and an HTC Evo 4G.

The WiFi on the Evo keeps working fine, but on the netbook/elementary keeps dropping.

Sometimes I need to wait from 5 to 10 minutes until the laptop can reconect.

Mostly of the time I restart the PC.

Sounds like a driver issue.

Hmm, maybe try linux-generic-lts-quantal

Hello Peter,

The HP Probook you mentioned can come with either Realtek or Intel or Broadcom wireless card. Which one do you have? Can you confirm this issue didn't occur with Ubuntu 14.04?

I've got the same issue with loki in my DELL Inspiron N5010 laptop. Wi-fi connects and the first webpage requested is downloaded, but the next link I select doesn't work and I need to reconnect everytime... so: I cannot use WiFi at all.

Hello everyone,

Please do not change the status of old bugs, as they may have been fixed, or obsoleted a long time ago. The initial bug report is from 2012.

Please make separate bug reports.

Maruicio, your issue sounds like a driver problem, which the elementary project cannot, however, help with, since we do not maintain the drivers shipped from upstream.
