Bug Description
Hello,
I'm experiencing a a black screen while playing videos on fullscreen with vlc and OpenGL GLX video output with AMD proprietary driver (the open source one runs fine). Same happen with any game on steam, they can't run on fullscreen, they works only in windowed mode. If I switch to another desktop manager like Unity the problem disappear, so I think is pantheon related. Also, if I replace gala with compiz the problem persist.
How to reproduce the problem in VLC:
1. install fglrx driver from amd site;
2. install vlc and set the video output to OpenGL GLX;
3. play a video and try to run in on fullscreen;
How to reproduce the problem on Steam:
1. on a terminal run: "export LANG=C";
2. run "steam";
3. run a game in fullscreen mode;
p.s: this is my first bug report so if need more information please ask...
