folder-templates and text-x-generic-template use different template metaphors: the folder icon shows a sheet of paper and a kneepiece, just like document-page-setup, while the template mime icon shows a blueprint.

The bug is still valid as of trunk revision 1253.
Many more icons with a kneepiece were added, such as x-office-document-template, x-office-presentation-template, etc. but text-x-generic-template still shows a blueprint (which is not a particularly international metaphor).
