Eidete crash with: "show circle behind mouse" option

Eidete crashes as soon as I try to use the option (Show Circle)

My system is:
Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangoline) - Unity Desktop
Vbox 4.1.12 with Windows 7 - 64 bit as Host (Ubuntu is thus the guest)
I have updated and upgraded my system before this very same crash.

Eidete installed from this ppa:
ppa:shnatsel/eidete-daily

Steps to reproduce this bug:
1. Fire up Eidete;
2. Click on Appearence;
3. Click on "Show circle behind mouse";
4. As soon as Eidete starts recording it crashes (no backtrace is produced with Gdb)

When the "Show circle behind mouse" option is NOT selected Eidete works fine (no crash whatsover) :-)

BTW, it looks like it is not possible to select the transparency (opacity) of this colour which is really annoying (because of this you can not see below this circle).
On top of this you can not choose either the size of this circle :-(

I have recorded this video thanks to Camstudio, an open source software for Windows: http://camstudio.org/
With Camstudio you can choose the colour for your circle mouse's cursor (left, right cursor); its size; its transparency (opacity).

With Vbox I can record my Ubuntu 12.04 guest system through Camstudio (no need to use Eidete) :-)
