Eidete crash when using an Appearance option in Ubuntu 12.04 and Unity 3D

I'm using Eidete on my system Ubuntu 12.04 64bit and Unity 3D.
If I try to record the screen with the Appareance option for the mouse pointer (the yellow round area around the mouse pointer that follows it), after some time Eidete simply crash with no messages.
I have found that Eidete runs correctly for a while, until I open the HUD,or the Dash. Then the crash happens. I believe that the Dash and the HUD objects interferes in some manner with Eidete.

I'm sorry to not have a log error file, but Apport don't intercepts this problem, and I don't know how to get one.

I have run Eidete in a terminal, and these are the messages displayed:

The phrase "(Risorsa temporaneamente non disponibile)" means "(Resource temporarily not available)".

I can reproduce this by recording a video with the 'Show circle behind mouse' appearance option enabled and then moving my mouse very quickly.

Ok, maybe my fast mouse moving does not really trigger the problem. But just waiting long enough and moving the mouse around does eventually crash eidete for me (on Unity3d as well).
