Sometimes when activated, the window only displays a big pause button that does nothing

Random issue here.

Some times, when recording and activating the window to finish the recording the app window only displays a big pause button that does nothing.
It doesn't pause, it doesn't finish the recording.

The only solution is to exit the program by closing the window (with the x button) and loose the recording.
This is infuriating.
Also data loss.
