Eidete eats all my RAM in few seconds

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit with the last update of Eidete:
-> eidete 0.1.0~r66+pkg8~precise1
-> contractor 0.2.0~r12+pkg4~precise1
-> libgranite0 0.2.0~r275+pkg27~precise1

When I start Eidete all is ok, but when I start to register the screen, in few seconds my RAM memory is fully occupied by the eidete process. Until the last update eidete worked very well.
The first time that I run eidete this evening, my PC stops to respond because the lack of RAM. I rebooted and I run the System Monitor together with eidete and I have found that the memory for the eidete process was growing very quickly.
