Bug Description

Why does the overlay scrollbars have to be so thin?

It's frustrating trying to use them, for example when I have a folder with hundreds of files inside a good overlay scrollbar is essential (expecially for whom use the touchpad), but using such thin scrollbars is extremely hard and unconfortable.

What about who use the touchpad then? Often it's more confortable to use the scrollbars, if they were usable...

Completely agree. Design for the sake of design over functionality is never a good choice. Should definitely be changed.

The tiny sliver-like scroll bars piss me off on a daily basis. On my desktop I use a logitech marble mouse, so no hardware scroll wheel is available.

Leave the default width as the tiny sliver, fine, but at least give users an option to make them wider please.
