Bug Description

Hi, there is a consistency problem in elementary OS Freya Beta 2 with the battery status icon in wingpanel when popular Numix(-Circle) icon theme is used. With default elementary GTK theme, the battery status icon is white, whereas all the other status icons are grey. In contrast, with Numix GTK theme all the status icons are consistently grey.

This colour consistency problem does not exist e.g. in Ubuntu or in Xubuntu. In both cases, the colour of the status icons is consistently grey with Numix GTK theme as well as with the respective default GTK themes Ambiance (Ubuntu) and Greybird (Xubuntu). Attached is a visual overview of the battery full-charged status icon in the different panels, always with Numix(-Circle) icon theme.

A possible reason for this colour difference might be the use of "symbolic"-named battery status icons.

This issue has been raised in a thread over at Numix Project, specifically in this section here: https://github.com/numixproject/numix-icon-theme/issues/107#issuecomment-74034696 Cautionary note: this rather long thread, really no need to read all of
it; if anything, this shows that the battery status icon is a somewhat tricky one :-)

Anyways, the other problem with the battery status icon, concerning size/scaling, has already been fixed in Freya, cf. for Luna e.g. https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryicons/+bug/845037 and possibly there is a solution for this remaining colour inconsistency as well.

I don't support using any other icon theme with this stylesheet but elementary icons. There's no way to really fix this in my stylesheet.
