Bug Description
Harvey has a great mockup for the color chooser dialog. We should investigate sexing it up.
I know that Adwaita does some stuff with the chooser to give the "swatches" rounded corners and stuff.

I like the mock up very much : it's very neat.
Nevertheless, I have the following suggestion :
1) in the right panel, add the possibility to change the hue of the selected color.
So once I have chose a nice purple, I can choose darker/lighter variations easily
2) the windows can be bigger and use more screen space : our desktop screen are big enough.
Another row of shades in the left window. And offer a larger color selection area in the right window
3) add a recently used color list in the left windo
4) highlight the preset colors that are the most used.
I know that when I do text formatting, I don't like to look for which colors I chose : I always
wish that the software will help me.
Maybe with a glow or by drawing a light frame around them.
Cheers,
Carl.
