language changing problem

Bug Description
edubuntu persistent usb (2012-10-14 build) I start the system using the italian language, I restart using the french language, I restart using again the italian language and when I open software center, I notice that the packages descriptions are still in french (see attached screen shot).
I cannot submit the bug using apport owing to the #1062688 bug, so let me know which files may help in solving the problem and I'll attach them.
