Bug Description

I'm using MoinMoin with its own form-based cookie authentication (MoinMoin.auth.moin_cookie). Is there some way for editmoin to support this authentication? I set my user ID correctly, but the server still doesn't allow me to edit pages.

Hi I am not sure this is what you request in your bug report. But if not the patch should show where it needs to be tuned.

I recognized today that 1.8 and 1.9 is not well supported for moins normal session authentication. That was my occasion for the patch :)

I like it!

cheers
Reimar

Thanks for the patch.

Please note that it's breaking existing usage of editmoin, asking passwords in places where it doesn't need one.

I'll investigate to see how to add the new features without breaking other uses.
