Bug Description
When handling automounting, the forked helper triggers a duplicate PAM process, creating rather unexpected results:
$ cd /tmp
$ touch monkey
$ ls cow
ls: cannot access cow: No such file or directory
$ sudo -s
# sudo -u kees ln monkey cow
ln: creating hard link `cow': File exists
strace reveals two "ln" commands getting spawned simultaneously. Eek.
