Rather than adding the kmap call, I'm inclined to remove these debug statements from the code entirely. These debug messages have not been useful to me in a long time. Do you find these specific debug statements handy, Daniel?
On a side note, I couldn't apply the patch upstream, anyways, because the commit message is not in the proper format. There must be a subject, a body, and a signed-of-by line. Documentation/
