problem with password

I installed the easy ubuntu program. When I try to run the program, I get a request for a password: "Enter your password to run administrative tasks."

However, when I enter my password, I get this error message: "Failed to run -- `python' `./easyubuntu.in': Wrong Password."

However, my password is not wrong, it works on everything else. I initially thought that I had accidentally typed in the wrong password, but I've tried it over and over again, and I always get this error message.
