eee 701sd realtek8187SE card not recognized in easy peasy

Bug Description

 I am a relative linux Nubbie trying to run easy peasy (1.6 beta) on an asus eee 701sd. The wireless in this model is the dreaded realtek rlt8187SE. The majority of linux distros fail to recognize this card. So far i have only been able to get it running under puppy linux with specially written drivers provided on their forum. The card is supposed to be reconized in easy peasy, but it just isn't.

for the record, the model number is RTL8187SE. Poster incorrectly has "RLT."
