Screen switcher not working

I h ave installed easy peasy 1.5. I dont want the traditional netbook remix desktop. I want to switch to classic but when I switch and reboot the desktop appears but without panels. I've tried to install a switcher http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26020903/desktop-switcher_0.4.6_i386.deb but it doesnt work either.. Im getting fed up with this now and am going to uninstall easy peasy and put another Ubuntu version if this problem doesnt get fixed.

In additon when im trying to naviage from the netbook remix desktop and I open a window, there are no minimize buttons or close buttons so every time I want to switch back to dektop view, cant get rid of whats in front of me. Things like the library on shiretoko cant be reduced at all and I have to rebook my machine to even get back to desktop.

Never encountered such a ridiculous problem, is there a solution for this please URGENTLY!
