Bug Description

I have had easypeasy 1.6 installed for years on an Asus eeepc 901. This is the first time that I have consistently received this error.

I've just opened a terminal and run 'sudo apt-get update'. The result (I only paste 2 good lines followed by the naughty part. This bugs.launchpad.net doesn't let me post the entire result):

I have seen this errors of this type before. In the past, I've tried to do the update at another time, because maybe something went wrong with the internet connection, and it has always worked.

This time, I tried to update last night. I received the error. I tried several more times, waiting about 10 or 15 minutes each time before trying again. I kept receiving the error.

I tried again this morning, again several times, waiting about 10 minutes each time before trying again.

I experience the same issue. The address "archive.geteasypeasy.com" doesn't actually resolve to anything, as the attachment of console output shows. This has been tested against several popular DNS servers with the same end result.

Okay, just ignore the two-in-the-morning comment I just made. It's clearly another issue. Never mind me.

I got the same error on the actual EasyPeasy 2.0 using the update software.
I tried the following workaround in the terminal:

sudo do-release-upgrade -d

At least, I get updates again.
