Easycrypt still uses the soon to be deprecated notification area

It would seem more than likely that the notification area will be deprecated by the time Maverick is released, replaced by various system indicator-applets and the new application-indicators. Thus, it's would probably a good idea to start work on porting EasyCrypt to the indicator-applet as soon as possible (I for one have forsaken the notification area in Lucid).

I don't know whether or not easycrypt is still under active development, but assuming that it is this bug is surely a higher priority now given that Ubuntu will be switching to Unity as of 11.04. Unity, to the best of my knowledge, does not support the standard notification area, only application-indicators.
