dtool cannot compile

Bug Description

When trying to create an engine with dtool it gives me the following error:

$ dtool create engine -l rhamphor
dTool v0.1 written by Ephracis in 2008
A tool used to manage the Dynapt Menu System

[*] creating engine rhamphor
[*] get source files
[*] get header files
[*] looking for old files
[*] compiling
  [*] /usr/bin/ld: rhaplet.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `vtable for Rhaplet' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
  [*] rhaplet.o: could not read symbols: Bad value
  [*] collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Will commit to trunk as soon as the code arrives at Bazaar here at Launchpad. But you should try to work on your patches, had to clean some stuff up.
