Bug Description
I upgraded a laptop from 16.04 to 17.04 and could not resolve the perpetual login prompt boot so I deleted my ubuntu partition reinstalled ubuntu 17.04 and did a boot recovery to restore the grub prompt for dual boot. However, when I attempted to restore my user data from a deja-dupe backup (from 16.04) I received the following python 2.7.13 Traceback error:
