Dropping letters AP failures with Qt 5.3

Two autopilot failures are seen with dropping letters when using Qt 5.3:

dropping_letters_app.tests.test_dropping_letters.TestMainWindow.test_finishing_a_word(with touch)
dropping_letters_app.tests.test_dropping_letters.TestMainWindow.test_start_new_game(with touch)

With error like:
ubuntuuitoolkit._custom_proxy_objects._common.ToolkitException: Button with objectName "new_game" not found.

in both cases.
