Cannot install ubuntu using Dell Inspiron, yet using a VM seems to work. No distro of Linux seems to work, lubuntu, linux mint, ubuntu 18.04/19.04 all give the same error. Using workarounds like "iommu=soft noapic" and the like do allow bootup, but force permanent blackscreens when laptop goes into suspension or sleep. |
