Flickering status bar

A Galaxy Note 10.1 user reported the following problem:

- After installation or a Dr. Geo update, Dr. Geo does not work.
- It need to hard reset the device then Dr. Geo can work correctly
- However, after a while using Dr. Geo, the display freezes then the DrGeo bottom help bar is flashing a lot.

I am not sure, I may have seen flashing help bar in my Archos device. I need to check more precisely.

Dimitry, can it be related to my increase of the polling timer ?

With the Android version I have noted some time flickering in the user interface. For example, when opening the large dialog to load a sketch, flicker/or delay shows up when the dialog close.
The status bar (in the bottom) when a long message is printed, is flickering, and it slowdowns a lot the interface. In this case the problem shows up for tools where the printed message in the status bar is long (long description of the tool). It is true for transformation tools.

In the two situations, I can see large morph, but it is not the only situation where there are slowdown.

The flashing problem comes from the shadow effect applied to the message printed in the status bar.
Why is it happening in Android device and not in iPad. It is still a mistery.
For now, the shadow effect is disabled.
