Bug Description
I ran a command which takes a while and outputs a few thousand text lines. During this function I double clicked the folded output to unfold it, which resulted in an error message:
Gtk-ERROR **:Byte index 123 is off the end of the line
aborting...
After pressing OK, I get a "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" window with a runtime error message.
I'm using windows XP.

This is probably caused by a GTK bug with hidden text (which is used to implement folding). The bug was reported to GTK, but I don't expect it to be fixed soon. Working around it will take significant work, so for now it remains.
